About Jaci:

About 2 weeks ago we moved Jaci into a "Big Girl Bed". She has stayed in her bed so far and has not gotten out yet and has slept through the night so far! We have also let go of her binki! She is now 18 mos and ready to go into Nursery and yes....the binki has got to go!! She is now a big girl and needs to go off of it!! She has actually done really well with it. She really likes her bed, now all I want to get is a bedspread to match hers and Marissa's bed!!!
The rest of us.....We just need to get Marissa potty trained, Blake is doing well, a couple of things to work on before Kindergarten, Jaci....get her to stop from throwing tantrums, Tony, is doing well with his weight loss. He is still loving his "Body Bug" and we just bought an Elliptical and sold our Recumbent Bike in less than an hour after I posted it on KSL. We needed to move up and he needed to burn more calories and this will help him and we can both use it!! Me....I am doing well. Just taking care of 3 kids! That's my job!!!

Happening's at the Jacobsen Home!

Well, now that I am done training at Tanner Clinic, I am now ready to work on my own and have people call me whenever they need me! I worked this last Tuesday for about 2 hrs, and it wasn't very busy. We gave one tetnus shot and I had the student do it since she was there and she needed the practice! It was nice to get out for a min though!
That morning, both Marissa and I got hair cuts! I just like Marissa's hair shorter, it makes her look older and it's better for me to do her hair!
Last night I took Jaci in at after hours at Tanner Clinic because she was throwing a fit and I had her hand and she threw herself down on the floor and I heard something pop, and I didn't think anything about it, but she kept crying and crying for about an hour after and kept holding her left arm. We got it X-Rayed and it is not broken, today she is doing better with it and moving it around and holding things in her hand which is better. She is my little stinker! Here is a picture of her on the floor sleeping! SHe throws fits constantly and likes to lay on the floor! She also loves to brush her teeth and eat the toothpaste that I put on her toothbrush! She is such a mommy's girl also!
About a week go, Blake was their "VIP" person at Pre-school. So they Highlighted him and wrote up this little poem for him! He is loving pre-school and has learned so much! He will be so ready for Kindergarten! He still has a little more to learn, but he is doing great! We just got his kindergarten shots done on Monday and I have submitted everything to the school for Kindergarten next year! He is way excited to go!! We love you Blake and you are a "VIP" in our family!
Tony just got a new little toy. It is called the "Body bug". ( A knock off one) We got it off Amazon.com. Anyways, it keeps track of your calories and how much you intake and how much you are suppose to burn. A couple of people at his work have one and they have lost quite a few pounds, so he decided to get one. Hopefully it will motivate him to loose weight. He is doing good so far and it loving it, so hopefully it will stay that way! I love you babe, your awesome!
We are enjoying the warm weather and hopefully it will stay with us longer and be warm! My kids have loved playing outside and it has been fun!

Adrianne's Skiiing Adventure!

SO, you would think I would be the coordinated one in the family since I use to clog and pick up on things really well.....well that all changed! I would have to say that Paige (my little sister) would be the one that is more coordinated than us all...(Well you too calt)! So Taylor, (Paige's fiance) got Tony and I VIP Passes up to Powder MT. on Friday. I was all pumped and ready to go and get all ready and ask "Where is the bunny hill"? Well, they really don't have one and then later to find out as we were leaving...they do have one, but it was way more steep than the hills that I went on earlier that day! (Do people really not know what a bunny hill is suppose to be?)! For me...I think of something flat with a "Slight" hill! So a 1/2 hour later I make it down to the bottom and get on the lift. (At this point I make it aware to Tony that I am deathly afraid of Heights and it scares me the whole way up to the top)! So we make it to the top and then we start to come down. I am falling every which way and trying to get up and Everyone else is waiting for me. When I finally made it down to the bottom, I had fallen at least 20 times for more and I wasn't sure if I wanted to do it again. It was a bright and sunny day and I was getting hot because I was getting nervous, so by the second time around I had my sweatshirt off and my scarf! The second time around....wasn't as bad, but I still fell. After lunch, Challae (my sister), she took me down while she snowboarded, and she was actually a better teacher to me than my hubby (sorry babe). By that time I may have fallen once....so I was proud of myself and it took me only 1/2 the time to get down the Mt. The last time I went up the Mt. they didn't slow it down for me at the end and so I had a hard time getting off the lift and kinda jumped off at the last min. (kinda scary at the moment) and then Tony took me a different way and I went down a very steep part and it probably took me 1/2 hr just to get down that part. I was kinda mad. So We finally made back down to the bottom and took the lift up again, this time did much better getting off and then we headed back down to the lodge and I was getting pretty sore and tired.
All in all, I really did have a great time and it was fun! It is something that I could go back and learn some more of because I would like to achieve well at it and so I could go with my sisters and hubby more!! So Thank you Paige and Taylor and Chae! It was all fun!! I did take some pictures, but they are on my phone and Taylors phone! so I will have to get them off and post them! Here is a picture of the after math of my poor face. No I didn't wear make-up or sunscreen. I didn't even think about getting sunburnt! So here is a pic. of my poor face!
Yes I am very sore and yes it hurts like mad! Marissa looked at me this morning and said, "You funny mom" "HAHAHA"! She cracks me up!

Update on ticket:

So I went today to the DC COurthouse today and stood before a judge and pled NOT GUILTY! He then told me to come back at a later date to stand before another judge to plead my case and come up with some kind of solution that we can both agree on!
let me tell ya (Wast of my time) I should have just paid the stupid ticket, but now I go back on the 14 of April and plea my case with the hearing officer and the officer who gave me my ticket! Oh well, what do i have to loose hu?! Serves me right. I have nothing better to do, right!
I will let you know how it turns out then!

When you are driving in Kaysville and you see a Cop on the side of the road pulled over.....

What should you do:
A: switch lanes so you are in the outside lane
B: Stay in the same lane that you are
C: Try to go a different way so the cop doesn't pull you over for staying in the same lane that you are!
...Well....I have to admit my answer in letter "A". And here is my story:
Last night (Tuesday Night) I was driving home from Bowmans around 8:30 at night. I was coming upon the Stop light that was at main st. and where DHS sits and Kaysville Jr. High! Well, right before that light there were 2 cops that had someone pulled over. Well as I was proceeding to that light there was a car in front of me who ran the yellow light and there was a car to my left who stopped right with me at the stop light. as soon as I stoppped, the 2nd cop pulled up right behind me and as soon as the light turned green, I went and the cop put on his lights so I got over and he pulled me over! He came up to me and asked me why he had pulled me over, Obviously...i said no, why? Because I didn't get over to the other lane like I was suppose to and this is a serious matter that cops take very seriously into their own hands and don't want to jeopardize their own cops. (okay...that is fine). So after about a min, he comes back with my license and I show him my registration and ins. and he give he a citation for not changing lanes and jeopardizing a cop (something to that effect).....I was a little perturbed. He could have just gave me a warning. So now, I can either fight this ticket or just pay the $127.00 that it might be!! (Who has 127.00 to pay a stupid ticket!) SO just be careful the next time you drive in kaysville and you see a cop that has pulled another person over! DO the RIGHT THING and SWITCH LANES!!!
So laugh all you want at me!! This wouldn't be the first time I had gotten a ticket!
GRRRRRRR!!!
