Grandparents

I don't know if I ever shared this picture, but I was going through my pictures and I came across this one.  It happened to be taken 2009, I believe. It was for Jaci's Birthday. It was taken before my dad's dad passed away from Parkinson's. (the one in the blue stripped shirt)! This was a fun picture with all my kids grandparents and great grandparents.  I am glad we got this picture taken.  Not too many have their great-grandparents alive.  Just thought that I would share.  It has now been 2 years since my grandpa has died.  He was a wonderful man who was smart and dedicated to his Gospel teaching and standards! He is truly missed!!

More Family pictures!

Here are the rest of the Jacobsen family Pictures that were taken!  They turned out good I though!
Enjoy!

Family Pictures!

We went to Thanksgiving Point to have our Pictures taken with Tony's Family by Fotfly! If you have heard of them, they take good pictures.  We didn't do any individual pictures or family pictures so I decided to take my moms camera with me and snap a few of my kids before and after our shoot!  It is way beautiful there and all the flowers are pretty.  My kids did a great job!  I hope the pictures turned out good for Tony's parent's.  They are the ones that wanted them!

I love this one of Marissa!  SHe is growing up so fast! She is my cute girl!

jaci, she is almost 5 and sure getting attitude~!  She is me reincarnited...its a little scary at times!

My cute kiddos!  We had fun at Thanksgiving Point!

Marissa was being a little peel and didn't want to take a picture or anything, i can't remember what her deal was!
Here are a few that we took ourselves:

Baptism Pictures!

The day Blake got baptized, I cleaned the house the night before and started to get things ready, because that Saturday I had to work from 9-3, which was fine...it's not like I had to get him ready....it was all Tony that had to help him!!  I forgot my camera, but luckily  my mom brought hers and she took some pictures of us before the Baptism!  It was a very Special Day for Blake. We had a lot of friends and family there to support him and he enjoyed them there and thanks you all for coming!  It was a very Special Day and I hope that he can remember this Special Day!  We love you Blake!

BS Family Reunion 2012

We have (well my mom) has been planning on this for a couple of years! This was the year she wanted everyone to go back to Rochester, since it is Miq's and Cody's last year there and Calt and Kristi live only 3 hrs away.  We all saved our money and my mamma and pappa helped us our by giving us some money for Christmas last year to help with the plane rides! (For the ones that would be traveling by air!).  It actually turned out good.  We got one free flight because tony had frequent flyer miles and then we bought some miles off of his dad which we gave them money for that, So it actually turned out fairly cheap!  The kids and I left on a Wed night at Midnight with my sister, her hubby and 2 little kids!  (I didn't realize it but on our last flight to my sisters, someone said "cute Family".  People probably thought that we were poligamist...here is 1 guy with 2 women and 5 kids!).   But we made it to my sisters on Thursday morning around 9:00 AM.  Kids did well!  Didn't sleep a ton and we had Frosty's for breakfast thanks to Uncle Graeme!  Thursday, Friday and Saturday, we just mainly took it easy! My sister and her hubby went to Niagra Falls on the Canada side so the kids and I and my mom went outside and played in the water with the kids. WE did go to a Splash Park one day!  That was fun!  It was busy, but fun and the kids had a blast! My hubby and dad came flying in on Saturday afternoon. The rest of the week we visited the Sacred Grove and took Family pictures there.  All the Adults went and did Sealings at the Temple there...(that was fun to have all of us there)!  Before the Temple was dedicated a long time ago, I got my picture taken in front of it while visiting my aunt and uncle after HS Graduation!  We then went out to eat at Panera Bread!  (like a Zuppa's)!  We played minute to Win It games!  That was fun! Calt and Kristi came up with ideas and had prizes for everyone!  We watched the Olympics every night!  A few of us went and saw some movies at the theater. Went Grocery shopping and went through a lot of cereal!  My sister one night made up way good popcycles! (I must get a machine one day)! On the Last Sunday we were there, Tony and I took our kids on a tour of Joseph Smith's house and went up to the Hill Cumorah and saw the Statue!  We also went to where they published the BOM! It was a nice outing!
All in all, we were there for 2 weeks!  It went by fast! We sure miss my sister and family and Brother and family, but I think we were all ready to come home by the end!  Poor little Brielle (my niece) she was sick the whole time with a huge lump on the side of her neck!  My other sisters little boy, he will finally come to us and not cry when his mom leaves!  He got use to us all!!  Jackson......He is such a boy and is funny!  We sure miss him!  That youngest girl.....Miss Cute Baby Kate.....it was so fun to see her!

Thanks Miquelle and Cody for letting us all say at your house!  All in all, i think we kept it pretty good and hopefully we cleaned up well enough for you!  We vacuumed and swept a few times to keep things under control!  We sure loved coming out to visit with you guys!  I am glad I got to see your house! My kids had a great time too!
Calt and Kristi:  We are sure glad we got to see you guys!  That poor Brielle....I felt bad that she was so sick and Tony loved riding in your car and talking with you guys!  Thanks for all the great conversations and for using your cars!  Next time we will be up to see your house!

We love you all and miss you all!!
