Jacobsen Family Pictures Sept. 2009!

So, last Sunday we went with Tony's family and got our pictures taken at the Jensen Park down in Syracuse. It is way pretty there and have little bridges that go over little ponds and it is way open and nice. We all wore Black and Jeans. We have not gotten the pictures back yet, but when we do, I will have to post them. I am way excited to see how they turned out. Jaci was being a little pill that day, but what can I say....... She's 2! Terrible 2's is what you call it!!!

Jaci 2yr Birthday!

Our little Jaci is now 2! She is getting so big and is talking a lot more and we can understand her more. She is fun and cuddly and also likes to play rough. She likes playing with Blake and Marissa and still thinks she can do whatever they are doing. She loves to ride her bike with the kids....up and down the hill. She loves babies and strollers and necklaces and ponies. I made her a pony cake for her birthday. We celebrated her Birthday on Monday the 28th with everyone, since it was the only day that everyone had off in my family and we could get all together. She loved all of her gifts so thanks everyone for coming and supporting her. Here are some fun pict. of her!

Lasik Surgery

Well, My Lasik surgery went well. We were out of the office within 1 hr. It really wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. They first gave me a 5mg. Valium. Put it under yout tongue for fast acting. I really wasn't that concerned about it, but hey they are giving me free medsic. why not. and It did help take the edge off and it helped the rest of the day. They first put numbing drops in your eyes and then they cover one eye while they do the other. They put a plastic looking round suction contact on your eye while they cut your flaps...(things go blurry at this point) then they took me in another room where they did the laser stuff to it. From start to finish it probably took a total of 20 min total to do both eyes. Now I can see pretty well and my eyesight is great! I can always see now. My eyes are still a little sore and dry so I always have to keep drops in them, but other than that....its all good! I am glad it's done and that I got it done! I would recommend it to anyone who is thinking about getting it done! It's way worth it! My brother has some pictures on his camera so i will have to post them later!

2 Funny, Silly girls!

SO when I went in to check on my girls....this is what I found! marissa in jaci's bed with her! Whenever I put them down for either a nap or bed time.....they always like to play and do whatever and I usually go in a a couple of times and get mad at them and tell them to just go to bed, well tonight I just let them do whatever until I knew they were asleep and then go in there and see where there were! They are soo silly.
Here are some fun pictures of them tonight that I took!

FRUSTURATION.......

Do you ever feel like as a mom, that you never get time for yourself or do the things that you really want to do? Do you feel like when you get the house clean and then leave and then come back...that is was messier and now you have to clean up again, or do you feel unappreciated for everything that you do....get the kids ready, get the shopping done get breakfast, lunch and dinner, clean up, put the kids to bed and bath them all by yourself, get no appreciation from anyone for what you do throughout the day? I feel like this all time. I swear....no one ever listens and does what I ASK them to do, they lilly daddle around when you need to get stuff done, everyone touches things at the store and then you have some lady try to tell you that they are just kids and they do touch stuff....(ladie....don't tell me what to do with my kids!), or make dinner and no one eats it and they all complain to you or get the laundry done and it is sitting on your bed waiting to be folded and then have people complain that it's not put away and it is wrinkled, or you do have a dishwsher but the dishes always seem to miss that and are in the sink, or you always have to bath your kids on your own and put them to bed on your own......

I just feel like I have no time to every do anything.....Scrapbook, read, sew, i am always taking care of the house, getting Blake to school and then home again, getting lunch done putting the girls to nap, Blake playing with friends, I take a shower, then now it is dinner time, try to make dinner, try to get the kids to bed.....I am totally exhausted by the night, then you wonder why I am soooo grouchy all the time and don't ever want to do anything. It's good to vent. I need somewhere to vent! My kids don't make me frustrated, it's just all the other time consuming things that need to be done day after day after day. and putting away everyone's crap and cleaning up after everyone. Just learn not to make a mess and clean up after yourself! It would make my life a WHOLE lot easier!

A Wonderful Weekend of Fun!

So this last weekend, I really needed a break and needed to get out. I planned for a Babysitter for my kids for Friday Night. So when Tony got home from work on Thursday he informed me that we was going to go back up Elk hunting that night since Friday was the last day of Bow Hunting. SO of course he went, so I just hung out with my mom and sister n law for a few hrs. Friday was a same ole, same ole day. Tony got home late that night. They never ended up getting anything, but they all had fun. So we went our Saturday night and went to Sizzler while his parents watched the kids. After that, when we got back to his parents home, his mom was going out to the mall cause they had all their Lucky Jeans on sale, so I went with her and I ended up getting a pair for $40.00. But when I get home and try them on to show tony, I realize they are the wrong pair and they were the other ones that I tried on and not the ones that I wanted. I was so bummed, and the mall closed at 10:00. SO I ended up calling the mall so I could ask the Sales assoc. a question but the mall really closed at 11:00 pm, so I call my sister to run out there with me and she did, and I switched them and actually got 2 pair for cheaper than my one pair. The one pair I really wanted came out to be $11.00. What a steal hu?! So it was a sweet day, but very long day! Earlier that day I was coming home from a baby shower that was clear in the heck out in west roy! Just about as far as you could go and I was on the Freeway heading No. and I was approaching the Antelope/Syracuse exit ramp a few yards ahead, when I realized in my rear view mirror that the car behind me was going to slam into me and hit me. The fast thinking that I did, there was no one in front of me so I tried to speed up but she still hit me just barely and made a little scratch on my back car bumper. No indents or anything, just a scrape. We didn't call the police, but the other girl was all shaken up and was really sorry about it. I guess there was a truck that was going to hit her so she swirved over and realized that I was there or something....so I got her name and ins. info. so we will see what we will do! it's really not that big of a deal. I wasn't going to pull over, but I did. Th worst thing was, was trying to get back on the Freeway. That is a major pain if you have never tried that before!
So then on Sunday I have to speak in Sacrament mtg. about what brings Happiness in my life. it went well I suppose. I am just glad that it is over now! Now another 3 years before it is my time! Maybe I will have moved by then! then on Monday right before I am to walk Blake to school, I notice there was a thorn in my double stroller so I get it out and all the air goes out and my tire is now flat, and then I couldn't get the garage door to go back up to switch strollers......It was not a good morning this morning, but I walked off my frustration and now that pre-school is over for today I can get back to the afternoon and maybe take a nap and relax! It has been a stressful couple of days!!

Our Girls "Princess Pre-School"!

This year we are doing our own pre-school with some of the little girls in the ward that are Marissa's age! There are about 5 of them. I did this with Blake when he was this age, but there were only 3 of them. It's a little different with girls, but so far so good! They are catching on and learning. They are all fun and I am glad that I am able to do this. Here are a few pictures of the girls! They are all "Princesses"!

"This is the Place Monument" 8-29-09

let's try this again, this is my 3rd time trying to post this post....grrrrrrrrrrr.
So we went to "This is the Place Monument" a couple of weeks ago, and we really had a fun time! We went when we were kinds a tthe end of their Peak summer stuff so a lot of the houses were closed, but we still did some fun act. like the kids made necklaces and we rode on a very small train around a very small lake. They played some pioneer games and even walked on stilts! (tony even tried it). Blake enjoyed the horse ride and didn't even swell up. (he is allergic to them). I think their favorite was playing with the little goats! It was fun to watch them chase them around and pet them! They were way cute! After we did that, we drove up the canyon and ate lunch at a little lake/reservoir. It was fun and the kids really enjoyed our mid morning/afternoon outing! They were really good and all had a great time! On the way home we drove past a little lake and there on the side was a Moose.! It was fun to see so we took a picture of (zoomed in). It was pretty cool!
Here are some pictures of our wonderful outing as a family!

Kindergarten!

Blake is now in Kindergarten and is loving it! All except the homework part, but he is getting use to it and I don't think you will ever get use to doing homework, but oh well! I walk him to school every morning with a bunch of ladies in my ward and it's fun! He rides his bike with all the other kids. His teachers name is Mrs. Huckins and they have a very fun time in class together. his friend Ethan is in his class so that makes it fun for the both of them! He is doing well so far and mom is glad that he is in school. Here are a few pictures of him on his first day!
