Marissa looses more teeth!!

Marissa has lost 2 teeth in the last 2 day's. They have been loose for a very long time and so Tony pulled out one right before Church on Sunday and the other one out Monday Night. She cried, but after it was all said and done.....she was fine, especially when the Tooth Fairy brought her $1.00 each night for each tooth. She is one lucky girl and now she wants to go to the DI and buy herself a stuffed animal! her favorite thing in the world to do! Good Job Marissa! She is growing up so fast! She is loving Kindergarten and does so well. She has lots of friends in her class that she play's with and is reading so well!! I am excited for her to go to school All day. I don't know if Jaci will like that very much, being home with mom all day, we will have to find her a Preschool to attend!!

We had a good Thanksgiving and Christmas, and in the mean time....bought a house and they are excited to move in and be settled!!

I think it is about time that we found a home! If all goes well, we will close the end of Jan. and shortly move in after that! We found the home in a subdivision that we have looked at and have looked at all the homes for sale in there. This home that we purchased, became a foreclosed home and we jumped on it real fast. The home was built in 06, it is a two story. It has 4 bedrooms and a big master bedroom with my own bathroom and big walk in closet (which I am excited for). Large kitchen area with wood floors, solid surface counter top, lots of cupboards. big wash room with 1/2 bath. The basement is unfinished with room to put a big storage room with a bedroom/office, bathroom and huge family/game room which we are excited about. This home is 35 Sq/ ft. We are super excited to move in and have our own home once again. It has been great to have my parents let us live here till we found a home. It has been a little chaotic at times, but we have managed to have 9 people living under 1 roof with 4 bedrooms! It's been fun to have my sister here to help with her hubby and my parents at night if we have to run an errand when the kids are in bed! I will get pictures soon to show u all! The house is in Layton, closer to the Kaysville Side.

My sister just had her 2nd child on the 26th of September. She was 4 day's over due, but had a healthy 8# baby! He is adorable and growing so much already. I thought that once I would hold him and see him I would be baby hungry and want one.....NO, not right now! I am too stressed, I need to get in a home first and get settled!!! She named him Everett. (it's a family name in a way)! he is cute and has his own little facial features!! We love him!

Also, my cute sister N law and her hubby just adopted a little one. He was Born a week later than Everett. They named him Parker. He is also a cutie! I have not held him much. He is fun and we are excited to have him in our family and to also have another boy!

Jaci had her 4th Birthday on Sept. 29th. We had a party for her up at my moms since we moved out the day before. My mom had to work that night so my 2 sisters were here and us. It was a low key Birthday for her, but she still had lots of fun and got spoiled. We made her cupcakes and put animals on each one! The kids liked them! Jaci and Marissa especially liked all the animals. my baby is 4. She is growing up so fast it makes me sad. She still is hard at times, but I am hoping that this year will get better!! She still gets ear infections, but hopefully one day it will all be gone!! We love you Jaci. We are glad you are in our Family!

Leaving our "First Home" as a Family!

It was a little bit of a Bitter Sweet thing for me to leave Farmington. That is where I brought all my kids home from the Hospital and they made their first friends and went to school. It was hard to leave. It was our first "home" ward with our children also. Both Tony and I have been in many callings in the Farmington 3rd. ward. We did a lot to our little home that we bough 8 years ago. We fixed it all up with Granite, Nice Cupboards, Tile, Painting, newer carpet.....just so that we could sell it!! No, we were just out growing our home and wanting something a little bigger to grow into with our kids getting bigger!!! We have loved the ward and many neighbors that we became acquainted with and grew to love. We had many friends in the ward and hope to be able to keep that friendship with much of you!!! I took one last picture of the kids in front of their "First Home"! They have been missing all of their friends at school and in they neighborhood!

So I wasn't a very good mom this year when school started. I forgot the first couple of day's, so the next week, I took a Picture of marissa and Blake did not want his Pict. taken. They have both done really well and enjoy school. For Sept. and October, the kids stayed at Farmington Elem., than when we sold our home and actually moved up to my parent's home, Tony didn't want me driving back and forth all day long so we decided to move the kids to Sam Morgan Elem. (which they ride the bus)! They have done well with the move and changing of school. I as a mom, was more fearful for them, but they day kids are resilient and make change well. My kids have done really well. Blake is in the same class as his cousin which makes it really nice and an easy transition. Marissa's kindergarten teacher is wonderful and to come to find out, she was in our Stake in Farmington. It has been good so far, a little stressful for me, but we are still looking for a home and have walked through quite a bit! We will let you all know where we end up one of these day's!
The bus did have a mis-happen the 1st week of school. Marissa is the only one to be dropped off at her stop, so one day they had a sub driver, I guess her name was not on the route, so the bus just went on by and did not drop her off. Me as a mom 15 min later not knowing where my child was and if she was ok and if she did get on the bis to come home, I was freaking out. In the back of my mind I knew something like this would happen sooner or later and sure enough, it did. marissa was fine with the whole thing. I was upset. It almost made me want to put them back in their old school.
We are good now and the kids are having fun. Not too many kids for them to play with up here. They get bored really fast, but it is nice to be living with Grandma and Grandpa and living next to my grandma and Grandpa and Aunt and Uncle!!

Our Home is Under Contract! I couldn't believe it when we had an offer. Our home had only been on the Market for 2 mos. with our Realtor when we got the offer. We have had it off and on with Fore Sale by Owner and with 1 other Realtor (that didn't so squat for us)! But I am excited that we sold it this fast, but a bit overwhelmed. Everything has just come at us so fast. Sept. is already crazy enough. We "Fixed" up a few things for our Inspection and Appraisal. Thanks to my "WONDERFUL, AWESOME...that always save us and help us Relatives. We got a lot done by the downstairs bathroom re tiled and the sink that is in our laundry room....now works ( my BIL, really knows how to shop for a great bargin at a fast paste)! to Fixing our Rain gutters and the shingles on our Shed....)! Seriously....it was an all day Monday labor Day Project! Everything looked good for our Inspection. A few small minor things, but nothing tragic. So it has been a bit overwhelming to say the least.
Also this week my Bro and family are flying in and staying with my parents for 2 weeks, so that will be fun to see them. In the meantime....I work Tues and Wed. Nights, we have my Nieces Birthday and than Baptism the First of October. We also have my babies Birthday who will be 4 the end of September and also on that day is my Awesome BIL his Birthday!!! Plus....if everything goes well as planned.....we will sign on the 28th, and will have to be out of our home by the end of the month! So I have a lot to do and I am a bit overwhelmed.
We did find a home that we like in West Farmington. The house is a Rambler with 3470 Sq. Ft. and on a .29 lot. It is Brick and Stucco with a 3 car garage. built in 2006 and a Very, Very, nice home!! I am totally in love with it! We have really only looked through 1 other house, and this house is the bestest and we both really love it and have a good feeling about it! Until then......we will be staying at my moms house! One BIG PARTY with my Sister and her Hubby and my parents and my kids and hubby! It will be WONDERFUL!!!

Yes, once again we have our home listed. This time it is with an agent and it is an agent whom we know well and know she will do a wonderful job! We have already had 7 showings, within the last 3 weeks I believe. I try to keep my house pretty clean, but it gets hard.
If anyone knows of anyone who is needing to buy a home, have them call me! It is in a wonderful neighborhood with great schools and close to everything! If we sell it, it sells and if not, we are not in a rush! We would just like something a little bigger as our kids get older! We have it listed for just under $200,000.00!

How can that be?! It just seems like he was so little. He grew up so fast. He will now be going into the 2nd grade. How crazy is that and one more year till he is baptized.... I must be getting old! I hope and think he had a fun Birthday. We Celebrated it lot's! The week before his Birthday, we got together with my family up at my moms and did Blake's, my Dad's and my Bro in Law's Birthday! Blake got spoiled from Roller Blades (Which he is getting better at and loves), to a soccer ball to going to the Bee's game with my dad and Tony! A couple day's after his Birthday, we celebrated along with the 24th up at Fernwood by having Breakfast with Tony's Family! He also got spoiled by his grandparents along with his cousins and aunts and uncles! Blake is one special boy! On his "Real" Birthday (the 22nd), Tony took the day off and my sweet sister was able to watch my girls while we took Blake to LAGOON to ride the "BIG KID RIDES"! I realize the older I get......the less my stomach can handle. After the first ride....Tony was done. Blake and him rode the Rock O Planes! Than we rode the Colossus and Wicked. Blake really wanted to go on the Screamer....(there is a reason why they call it that)! That ride.......let's just say it made me sick for the rest of the day! If i went around one more time.....It would have been bad. We then went on the Log Ride and then Rattle Snack Rapids.....where we all got soaked. (So much for doing my hair that day)! Before we went home we went to Pioneer Village to get a treat so that I could settle my stomach down. We had fun spending time with Blake and hopefully he had a fun day with "Mom and Dad"!
He is a smart, Bright, athletic, energized Boy who is full of energy and loves to play outside. He will be playing Soccer this Fall to try it out for the first time and than in the Spring he will play Baseball again! This year it will be machine Pitch, instead of coach pitch! He is excited for 2nd grade and I know he will make many new friends, as he does every year! We love you Blake and glad you had a fun Birthday!

Lamb Day!

Ever year (almost since we have been married), we have been attending "lamb Day" in fountain Green (by Manti). Tony's Grandma has a house down there where she grew up and every year in July for a weekend all the family gets together and has a little Family Reunion. We have not been for a while, so we decided to go down this year. We always go on Saturday Morning and get there around 8:00 for Breakfast and leave just after lunch around 2:00 PM. It was fun this year. We really had a good time. There were a lot of family there and it was fun to see everyone. They have a parade down on the "main rd." which this time they didn't have much candy left at the end. My kids had fun playing with their cousins and running around!

As U can tell, I like Change in my life! I am constantly changing my Blog. If you come to my house...U know I like to rearrange my furniture, I am always buying clothes. I am a person of change! I tell my husband......It's amazing I have not traded him in yet!! Just kidding! I would not TRADE HIM for the world! He does wish I would stop moving furniture around though and doing all the stuff! I don't know what it is with me, Probably my OCD...that I am! That's what makes us different, Right!

Swimming Lessons

It's that time of year again! I put Marissa and Blake in Swimming Lessons this Summer. They did awesome and learned so much! We do it at Farmington Pool and they did the first session this year. I should have put Jaci in, but next year we will. They both really enjoyed it and had fun! Blake is learning to swim and does well. He can jump in and swim to the side all by himself! Blake amazes me each day! he is a goer and does not stop till he gets in bed! Marissa likes to be mischievous and will do pretty much anything! She is funny!!! Here are some pictures of them!

Blake's Baseball Team went to the Championship! They ended up getting 2nd Place! They all had a great time playing and it was fun to see Blake learn out on the field. He was an awesome batter and an awesome Short Stop Player! He did amazing and had so much fun! Thanks to everyone who came to see him Play! He wants to play again so we will sign him for for Baseball next Spring! This fall he will try playing Soccer!!!

So I know there are a lot of Posts, and I am sorry, but I have been way behind and I have not been in the mood to post anything although I have needed to. This weather that we are having.....has really been getting to me. We have had so much rain it is unbelievable. I am tired of it. I need sun and I need to go outside and get some exercise. I would love to ride my bike more that my hubby got me! Go to Lagoon a lot more, take more walks.....This weather has really put everyone in a downer mood and you can totally tell by everyone's attitude, this weather needs to change and get some sunlight and stay for a really, really, really long time! I did look on the weather this week and we are suppose to be in the high 70's and low 80's this week. I am excited for that! Will it just stay though....who knows! I am so drained lately.
I also have been working a little bit more lately. It has helped me to be a somewhat better mom and to realize that I am not a full time working person everyday! I enjoy the time I spend with my family and kids at home! Although....it has been fun and I do enjoy it once I get there. it's the part when I wake up in the morning and I dread! Anything that anyone has done to help them not be so drained and up and going?!

Usually my kids (girls) like to follow Tony around by walking in back of him while he mows the lawn! A couple of day's ago, he was mowing the lawn and the girls wanted to help so he let them help push the lawn mower! The girls loved it! highlight for them! My kids love being outside! Blake, from the moment he gets up in the morning to the time he gets home from school and goes to bed....he is outside playing who knows what! He loves playing with the Neighbor kid who is at least 6 years older than him. He teaches him soccer stuff and Baseball stuff and Blake just idols him! He loves playing with the "Older" Boys! He cracks me up! He in an on the go kids and has to keep busy 24/7, if not, he is bugging me telling me that he is bored and has nothing to do! I hope he does not get bored this summer and I can keep him busy!
My girls love being outside also! They love riding their scooters up and down the sidewalk and also their Bikes! Jaci is starting to pedal her Bike better! She is growing up so fast! If we can at least get her to stop with the tantrums and to eat better....We would all be in a happier world/home here!

So I didn't take any Pictures on My Birthday or even on Easter in their Easter Dresses, but here are some I tried taking a few weeks ago. They were all being pains and Blake didn't want his taken and I tried to get him to take some of me with the girls....ya that didn't work. Tony wasn't feeling to hot that day.....Why oh Why do Sunday's have to be a fight and contention and everyone scrambling....it's suppose to be a nice, happy, mellow day! That does not happen at our house! It is usually a fight because they don't want to wear what they picked out the night before and then Jaci doesn't want her hair done or wear nice shoes...she just wants to wear hew Princess shoes and everyone is in a bad mood. Sunday's are hard for me and I get very frustrated. Please tell me I am not the only one out there like this! If I am....there is something that I am totally missing or there is something totally wrong with me!

Preschool!

Preschool this year for Marissa has been fun. I did it again with neighbors in the ward and it turned out fine. The kids all had fun with one another and got to play more together and they have definitely learned things. I saw each kid grow from the very beginning to the end! They all made progress! The last week for Preschool, I took the kids on a Field Trip up to my parents house. They played on their swingset and ran around in the backyard......they had the time of their life! It was fun for them and I was so glad it was good weather!! thanks everyone for a fun Preschool year!

Teacher Appreciation Week 2011

This year Blake was in first grade and is just finishing up! He has really enjoyed being at school all day and can i say.....it's great for me! he has made so many new friends. It's awesome! A couple of weeks ago, they had Teacher Appreciation Week, so I was trying to think of what to do for his Teacher (she has been awesome)! So I saw these ideas on a blog and thought that I could try them since i have a Vinyl Cutter! Well, low ans behold....I did something on my own...(well with the help of my sister of course!) but it turned out okay I think and his teacher liked it so it was all good!!

We had Birthday Party for Grandma Voniell, Julie and Annie. It was fun to all be together! Thanks everyone for all the Birthday stuff. Only 1 more year till I am 30....and I am not looking forward to it. I never thought that I would be 30 this soon. Time Flys once you are out of High School and now I am a mom doing all the mom stuff and learning new things every day! It's fun!! (though it can be a little stressful at times and overwhelming at times!) But all in all....I love being a stay at home mom and being with my kids! I can't imagine sending them off to a daycare everyday! I give it to those moms who do that! You are strong Women, but you do what you have to do!!

Easter!

This year....Easter was a little chilly than normal. We still had fun! We had fun at my grandma's annual Easter Egg hunt with all the cousins and second cousins (that mostly do it now)! All the good food....especially my cousin's yummy cookie salad!! My sisters and I requested that one. It turned out fun. We also had fun at Tony's parents house where they did all the eggs out on their patio outside and they were spoiled by grandma jenny! All the kids had fun! Thanks everyone for all the Easter stuff! it's always fun to be with family on Holiday's!

The kids also had fun on Easter Morning at home! The girls got a Easter skirt and shirt and Blake got a shirt and shorts! They also go Tangled....but we gave it to them early because it is such a cute movie! We love that movie at our house!!

Baseball......here we come!

It can't be a year without Baseball!! I signed Blake up for Baseball this Spring. He has enjoyed it so far. Tony was excited for him that he went out after a Practice one night and bought him some baseball pants and cleats! We have been rained out numerous times for games, so we have not played too many, but it still has been fun! Blake bats left handed and I have to hand it to him, he usually hits the ball on the second to third try. He has never had to use the Tee to hit off of. I have not been to the last 2 games because I have had something going on, but Tony said these last two times, he has struck out. He is continually doing well. He plays shortstop, and loves it. He does awesome and gets everyone out!!! It's great! Way to go Blake! Your an awesome Player! One more game this Thursday and it will be the last!! Maybe next year we will try it again!!

Ward Fiesta Party

A couple of Month's ago, our Ward had a "Fiesta" put together by the Primary Pres. (They did a fantastic Job). It was fun to be all together in our "New Ward"!! We had good food, fun things to get to know you games, and best of all....a Pinata for all the kids! They loved it! As soon as the candy fell out......the kids were all over that! Blake, might I say.....started hitting it hard enough to have the candy fall out!! It was a fun evening and something new for our ward. We have done the same ole, same ole, year after year....Ward Parties, so it was a good change to do something different! here are some Pict. I don't ever think that Marissa or Jaci ever wanted to hit it!! (some of the smaller kids did not want to)!

My Grandpa Law!!

I was born into the "Law Family". Growing up, everyone use to joke..."so is your dad a cop?" "as a matter of fact....he is"! Law is a pretty pronounce name, it was changed from Honks a while down the generation...thank goodness for that. My Grandpa Law......what a profound, great man he was. He was fun, good wisdom, loveable, honorable. He did a lot of good in his life. He was diagnosed with Parkinson's about so long ago. Just within this last year he has gotten a whole lost worse and has deteriorated a lot. He recently died a week ago Sunday (the 5th) to be exact. He was in an Assisted living home since September and for the last couple months, family members would take turns going up there to feed him either Lunch or Dinner. At first he did really well, but by the end.....it was very little or nothing at all. It was sad to watch him get worse each time and to hear of his bad day's. He did not know who you were when you went up to see him. Each time I would go up I would kiss him on the forehead and tell him I love him! The last "real" conversation that I had with him....if you can call it a conversation...was when Tony went up with me and my grandpa was talking about putting in a shelf in his closet and he needed all these tools to help him and he was asking Tony what he would do and asked him to bring him his tools. It was nice, but ever since that day, he had gotten worse. I remember the times that my grandpa would set up Obstacle Courses for us in his backyard when we had Family Parties, or take us for rides on the Horses, or we would play Shanghai or Knock on the Table on Sunday's. He would always tickle us and we would play, Stick as a board and fall into his arms. (scary moment)! He always had a testimony and he was such a good man! He will be missed and I know that his family will be blessed in so many ways. It was a good funeral. All my cousins were there. It was nice to see everyone. One thing I will never forget is that, I was the 1st. grandchild to get married on that side of the family (aka: oldest granddaughter) and my grandfather was able to Seal Tony and I in the Bountiful Temple for Time and ALL Eternity! I will never forget that day! It was so nice. We are a loving family who came from a very profound family of law's! Love you grandpa!!!

Hair Cuts......Yes, again!

I was going to grow out Marissa's hair for kindergarten.....but I came to the conclusion that....her hair is so thick and she really does not like anything in it or keep anything in it, so I took her to Dollar Cuts and we cute her hair pretty short. I also got Jaci's hair cut also. They look so much better and it just compliments her face so well. Dollar Cuts......our favorite place to get our hair cut!!!

So since Blake has been loosing so many teeth, my daughter Marissa, decided to try to catch up by loosing 2 teeth of her own. They are her 2 bottom teeth. They became loose together and then one night while in bed.......after a little while...(thought that they were asleep..), she comes out holding her tooth exclaiming that she pulled her tooth out while in her bed!! Silly girl!!! So she put her tooth in a baggie and that next morning her tooth was gone and the tooth fairy brought her a $1.00 bill. She was excited. That night her father took her to the DI (her new favorite place) to buy a toy!! She was excited! The next couple of day's her 2nd tooth became more loose and she pulled it out!!! (It grosses me out to pull teeth)! She was good about it and it doesn't bother her! She is growing up, but she will still be my small little girl!!!

This is what My girls like to do lately: Get a tub of water....from a Bowl or anything that they can find and put water in it, then get their Dolphins and pretend they are swimming. They make dolphin sounds......it is hilarious and talk to each other. They are funny girls. The other day I had my cute niece over and my girls got water out...so Brin decided that she wanted to play and got water all over her by spilling it! They had a great time, luckily they were on my tile!! Also, Blake...loves wearing his "Basketball" Jersey and shorts all the time. If I would let him....he would wear his Jersey every day to school. But here he is with his Basketball ball ATTIRE on and his missing teeth! What a cute boy I have!

Headaches....

Why do we get Headaches.....? I am sitting here looking at blogs and ksl.com and Facebook and whatever on the computer, all because I have a headache and I woke up with a Headache and I am really not wanting to do anything right now. My house is not that ship wrecked....but I need to do something, but I am not motivated to do anything right now. I must get my butt moving so that I can say I accomplished something. Although...I did take the Preschool kids on a Field Trip this morning to Dairy Queen~! They did excellent at listening and keeping their hands to themselves! (Thanks Heidi for coming and helping)! I hope that they all enjoyed it! Now it is time for me to go and do something!!

So my aunt, her parents were in the process of moving and were needing to get rid of a bunch of things, so we went over to her parents house to see what they had.....I ended up getting a Curio Cabinet....which I love (Thanks Sher) and also a Picture for our downstairs Family Room. We love it. We also got a few outside things, so it was fun!! So Thank You!!!

So a few Saturday's ago, I took the girls to my Favorite Hair Cutting Place (Dollar Cuts in Cntv.) and had their hair cut. Jaci, we got her hair cut short to her shoulders so it would look a little better and be more even. Marissa on the other hand....we are trying to grow her hair out for Kindergarten when she starts this Fall. We got it cut so it is more even. They both turned out Great and we love them! We love our Hair stylists. (we see two at Dollar cuts and love them both)! I (adrianne) am also trying to grow my hair out also. I want it just past my shoulders! We will see how it goes!!

Making our Own Food!

So with Jaci being so picky, I have been trying a few different ways to get her to "TRY" new things to eat. When Tony was out of town a couple of weeks ago, I have the kids make their "Own" pizza's with their own toppings! They each did a FANTASTIC Job and they ate their pizza's when they were done. Marissa has been doing a Great job and is doing a whole lot better with eating....Jaci on the other hand.....is still a struggle to try new things. I am hoping that she will eventually get better like Marissa has. Only time will tell I guess! Here are the Pizza's we made!

So I was talking to a gal that I work with one night while I was working. we were talking about kids and how we want to keep them safe from all these things going on in this world. Now this gal is quite older than me and could easily be my grandma......she is not Mormon at all, but she is a very nice lady. Anyway.....we talk to our kids about How harmful Drugs are and not to have sex and to buckle up while in the car and not Drink and Drive......but what if your child wants to do one of these things? Will you still love them? Will you kick them out? Will you dis own them...? What would you do? I sat there thinking for a min...and the gal told me: What if we just be more strict on on Children and tell them to be safe if they want to do one of these things. I will still LOVE YOU, but I want you to RETURN home in SAFETY. I care too much for my kids and I don't want them to do wrong and bad things, but if they choose to, I would like to know about it and would want them to come home safely and be called up to have someone tell me that my child is dead because of something. If they want to have sex, use a condom. If they want to drink....sure but they will be in trouble, but call someone to come and get you instead of driving yourself. I would much rather have my child tell me what they are doing and want to do instead of having them dead somewhere that I don't know about.

I want to be a parent where my kids can come and talk to me anytime. and they can tell me anything and not feel embarrassed or dumb. I want to know about my child's life. But I also want them to understand the consequences about their decision. If they choose to do something wrong, I want to to know it and hopefully they can change their lives and live life to the fullest instead of being dead somewhere!! I love my children way toooo much to have them die. They are mine and I will always love them no matter what!!

CPR

So I have not gotten my CPR renewed for a while and I needed to, but I just didn't want to do it myself. My little sister became a Home Health Nurse and needed to get hers, so we decided do find a class and do it together. Well, we found one up at McKay and we finally took one and only took us 2 hrs. But can I say......We PASSED!!! My sister didn't miss any, but I for one missed 1. It was kinda a tricky question.....(ones that I don't like). But it was good and now it is over!!! 2 more years and I will have to renew it again!!!

Tis the Season to be sick........Fala la la la!!!!

Yes, we have had our fair share of being sick in this household. Not all of us have been sick, but the ones who were sick......were sick, I tell you!!! It first started with Marissa who got sick and vomitted all over me and the floor at our Annual Ward Christmas Party. This year she was an Angel along with Tony and Blake who were Shepard's. At least she got to play her part and eat a little, but before we got to leave.....she did her duty. All night that night she vomitted for 6 hrs every 1/2 hr till 3:30 in the morning. It's hard to get a 4 yr. old to vomit in a bucket. I felt bad for her. It's hard watching your little ones get sick. The next day we stayed home from church and rested. Monday Night......I got deathly ill that I thought that I was going to DIE! I had the same thing Marissa had but only worse. It was bad and I sooooo wanted a shot at midnight to take away all the pain. I am at my worse and whine like a little girl when I am deathly sick. I HATE IT!!
On a good note, Blake, Tony and Jaci never got it. Blake and Tony had a tummy ache for a couple of days, but Jaci....never got anything. Cross our fingers that we stay healthy! no one has even gotten a cold or cough. Ya for Flu shots!!!!

Christmas Time is coming and it is just around the corner. Can't believe it is almost here. Time sure flys by. Pretty soon before I know it, my kids will all be grown up and I will miss having them around. I do love my kids and they are pretty well behaved. They are very loving and want to do what is right!!!

Look how cute these 2 were are babies..

So I have 2, yes 2 very mischievous GIRLS!!! For one, they like to play with BABY POWDER and shake it out till their room is all dusty with powder. Yes, they did this today right before Tony was to get home. When Jaci came in to see me in the Kitchen, all I wanted to do was laugh because she was covered with powder and was white. I didn't laugh (Out loud) and I made them sit in time out while I cleaned up their room because they would not help me. Luckily there wasn't too much in there this time. (Yes, they have done this before when Tony was home watching them.) Marissa will get into anything and destroy anything that she can and also likes to touch EVERYTHING at the store which makes Jaci want to touch everything. It can be soooo annoying at times. They are 2 girls that can get a long just fine, but can also get mad at one another and make each other cry.

Marissa is doing better at eating. She will at least try a bit of what we are having which is better than before, but now I have a bigger problem.......JACI! She is a lot worse than Marissa ever was. I can't get that child to try anything new. It absolutely drives me crazy. I just hope that one day she will grow out of it and try new things. She has fits and cries and has tantrums all the time. I really don't know what to do and I am soo frustrated up to my head!! If any of you have any ideas....please pass them along!!! I love both my girls, but I never imagined this is what it would be like to raise kids. I always told myself that I would NEVER have a Picky eater. Blake eats everything and anything and is such a GREAT Child. When Marissa came along.....She was a challenge. Then when I had Jaci, I thought that she was easy, but as she grew older, the worse it became. Oh well. You can't have PERFECT Children, RIGHT?!

Christmas Tree

Yes we put up our Christmas Tree BEFORE Thanksgiving. We put it up on Tuesday and Thanksgiving was on Thursday. The kids really enjoyed helping and putting their own ornaments on. Yes, they have a couple that are THEIRS! Tony also helped me by putting the lights on for me! (that part I hate doing!). Here are some pictures of us!

This year, we had Thanksgiving with the "Green Side". We had it up at my grandma's church and most of everyone was there except for 2 of my siblings, and 2 cousins with their families. We pretty much had a full house. We had tons of food as normal. And lots and lots of Yummy Pies. Adults played Basketball, and games and the kids played on the stage and made up games and plays for themselves. We almost had a tragic event happen to my youngest child, but THANKS to my QUICK reflexes uncle for putting out his arm and leg into catching my child going down head first from the stage. What a blessing in disguise it was. She could have seriously been injured and we could have spent our Thanksgiving at Primary Children's!
Later that afternoon we headed over to Tony's parents house to have pie and to play games. One of our favorite is "Catch Phrase"!It you have not played it....DO! It's a way fun game, especially when you are playing with me at times and you make a complete fool out of yourself like I do all the Time~! My family loves playing with me!! Sorry I don't have any pictures. I forgot my camera and I was totally bummed.
That next morning at 1:30 AM, My 2 sisters and I headed up to Park City to do some Shopping. We just go for the outing. It was cold....but it was fun! We all got a couple of things and headed back home about 4:40 and got home about 5:20 AM. To tell you the truth, we really weren't all that tired, but that afternoon....when i went to work, i was way tired. It was good that we had a steady pace of patients or I would have died and went to sleep.

Snow Storm

So this last Sunday, it snowed all night and all day. Being we have 9:00 AM church, as soon as we got done and out the door of church, the kids ask if they can go play in the snow when we get home. Blake and Marissa played for a long time while Tony did the driveway. This is actually the first year Marissa has really enjoyed it. They had tons of fun. Blake has always been an outside person. Weather it is snowing, raining, whatever.....he is outside till it is dark playing football, soccer, biking. He loves playing with our neighbor who is 6-8 years older than he!!! He is very nice to play with Blake. It's like having a Bi Brother relationship!. Here are the kids in the snow!

Happy Halloween to everyone. Hope you are all safe and have fun Trick or Treating. Today, was the Farmington Elem. School Halloween Parade. It was fun to see all the kids dressed up as something. There were witches, super heros, Little Bo Peep (my fav.), princesses, fairies, babies, all sorts of costumes. They were all unique and different and fun to see. last year when Blake was in Kindergarten, he was sick for his Halloween Parade so he couldn't go, so this year was fun! here is a Picture of him and his friend!

Blake is Playing Jr. jazz and is loving every minute of it! He's not so aggressive out on the floor. He has shot the ball a couple of times, but has missed. he does pretty well dribbling. I only get to go to the games when they have them at 8:00 PM. because I work on Wed. and that is when they have the games. Wednesday's game......was funny and a little irritating to watch. The coach from the other team but was really calling anything and just letting the boys do pretty much anything. it was more like a Rugby game than anything. it's amazing how many boys will just run with the ball. It's a learning experience i suppose. Blake enjoys it and it is good for him!! here are some pictures that I took from the other night!

Happy Birthday to my wonderful Husband. We have been married for almost 9 years. He is a Great Dad to our 3 kids and a wonderful Husband who works hard, reliable, trustworthy, responsible, and fun to be around. He turned 31 on Tues the 26th. I surprised him by going down to his work and taking him to lunch. That evening we got Little Caesars and ate Pizza then took our kids to get Pumpkins. It was a fun night. The day before, my mom made dinner for us and we ate dinner for my hubby's Birthday up at my moms and had Brownie all a mode. It was FANTASTIC and YUMMY!! Thanks Family for doing that~ We appreciate it!

Marissa is in Preschool this year. There are 3 boys and 3 girls. We are just doing it with moms in our neighborhood! For the month of September, we went to Hill Air Force Base Museum! I think they all liked the dirt and rocks more than the cool. big airplanes. Inside one of the Buildings, they have a hands on stuff for the kids to do and play with! They all loved it!! My baby turns 3!!

Happy Birthday to Jaci!! She is now 3 yrs. old. Time flys by so fast, I can remember holding her in the hospital. I was to go in the morning of the 29th and be induced. Earlier that morning around 4:00 Am, I started having contractions 15 min apart. they were strong and I was trying not to wake Tony. I got up and took a shower to see if they would go away. They didn't so Tony got up and I called my sister to come down and watch my other 2 kids. By the time my sister got to my house I was in pain and the contractions were hurting way bad and my sister was making fun of me! We get to the Hospital. Tony get's me checked in while I head upstairs to Labor and Delivery. By the time I get ready and the nurse checks me, I am dilated to an 8 and they are hurting bad that I get an epidural and then about 10 min later, I have Jaci. She was cute and 6# 10oz. I held her for just a min, then had to give her back to my mom because my stomach was hurting sooo much. (I think from pushing). I only pushed for a couple of min. If I ever go through this again.......I would much rather go myself than getting started. It goes by much faster!!
Jaci is now our sweet little girl with an attitude! She is a picky eater, but we love her! You tell her something and she say's, "Alright then", or "Otay". She loves to play ponies, and Zhu Zhu pets! She is a good sleeper and pretty good at going potty. We love you Jaci!! We had 2 parties for Jaci. On Sunday before her Birthday, we got together with Tony's Family and Celebrated Jaci's, Heidi and Kyle's Birthday! Thanks Heidi for getting the Cake!! Jaci got some fun stuff!! The day before her birthday, we celebrated Jaci's birthday with my family, since I had to work on her Birthday and so did my parents. She also go spoiled! All she wanted to do was open each present as fast as she could. She really didn't care what she had gotten! Thanks Chae for helping her!!

We love you Jaci and are so glad you are in our Family!!! She brings such joy to us!!

Spray Tan

There is one more thing that I enjoy.....that is being Spray tanned!! There is something to say about being tan that makes you feel beautiful and sexy!! I love it and looks natural and it is so much better for you than going to a tanning bed!! SO if you ever want one or try one, I can hook you up! My wonderful Neighbor does them and she does an AWESOME job!! I am going to try to hold a Spray Tan Party at my house sometime in the next month, so if you are interested.....let me know and I can get a hold of you when I do have the Party!!

Antelope Island

Last Sunday, Our kids were getting over colds and starting colds so we decided to stay home and not get anyone sick at church and went on a little Family outing! We decided to enjoy God's Nature that he gave us and enjoy some animals that we don't see everyday. We took a ride and went to Antelope Island. The kids had a fun time seeing the antelope and Bison. There is also a little ranch with houses that you can tour with a Big Barn. It was fun to see and take Pictures. Here are some pictures of our adventure!

So here is a Picture of Tony's Cow that he shot while up Elk Hunting! he was Pretty excited when he shot it and he and my uncle Evan dragged it out! When he got home, he took the cow straight to a meat place to have it processed. I tell you......we are going to have lots of meat around here and steaks! I am pretty excited for that! Yes, we got our Family Pictures taken about a week ago. A friend from High School took them for us, and she did a FANTASTIC Job! Thanks Brooke! They turned out really well and it was a fun evening. We had them taken up in Fruit Heights at the Rock Loft...(If any of you know where that is and familiar with Fruit Heights). I grew up there Right on Green Rd. We live next to my grandparents and aunt and uncle...(of course my parents still live there). The Rock Loft has some cool old stuff up there and tall weeds....it really is a fun Place. If you have never been there, you should go there, because inside the store is a Boutique with Fun and Cute stuff!! Fruit Heights is a fun Place!! Here are some pictures:

1st Grader and Last year of Preschool!

I can't believe I have a 1st grader. Blake is already loving school. He has a really nice teacher who is young and makes fun learning. he has a lot of his friends that were in Kindergarten with him in his 1st Grade Class. He loves eating school lunch and home lunch and loves having 3 recesses and loves being at school all day!! It is such a joy for Annie to be at home with only 2 girls!! I can actually get things done!!! Blake is doing really well and has fun. It wasn't a bit real adjustment for him. He does well when he has stuff to do and keeps busy. He is a person who needs to keep busy or he does get bored. He is writing well and reading well also. He is very bright and smart and makes friends of all ages easily. We love you Blake! Have a fun year in school!! (Pictures will come!) Forgot to take some on the 1st day. Marissa will also be in PreSchool this year. We have a couple of kids her age that we will be doing it with. All the moms will trade off every week. there will be 3 girls and 3 boys! It will be so much fun and Marissa can't wait. We will begin after Labor Day!

24th of July

This year for the 24th of July, we took the kids along with My SIL and her kids and went down to SL, to look around. We had a tour of the Conf. Cntr. and the Lion House and walked around Temple Square and ate lunch down there at the mall. It was a fun day and kids really had fun seeing all the attractions and learning about the culture and where we came from. It was a fun filled day with lots of pictures involved.

Swimming Lessons 2010

This year I signed Blake and Marissa up for Swimming Lessons. Blake had tons of fun in swimming as usual and Marissa never did want to go because she had a boy teacher and she wanted a girl teacher, so we ended up getting our money back for her and we will try again next year! Blake is becoming a great swimmer. He can swim under water.....he is not afraid and does great at it. A couple of weeks ago we were at my aunts house and she has a swimming pool and Blake was jumping off her diving board without a life jacket on and swimming to the side. My dad and sister were impressed of how well he would do that! He is really catching on great!! I hope to continually keep him swimming! He loves the water and to be independent. I just hope that Marissa will like to do it and become good as well. Jaci on the other hand......loves the water and is like a fish! Next year I am going to definitely put her in swimming! She is going to be my little fishy in the water!! She is not afraid at all!!

Blake's Fun Summer Act.

Blake loves to keep busy. He loves going Hiking, Fishing, being with my dad or his dad or grandpa craig. Here are some fun act. that Blake has done with his Grandpa Brian. Hiking up Bear's Canyon and fishing and also sitting in the Helicopter from the 4th of July. He is such an outgoing kid and loves to be doing everything he can. He just recently got a BB gun from his Grandpa Craig and bought some Bullets from the Money that he got from his Birthday. He shoots it up at Grandpa Brian's house with his dad around. I can tell he is going to be just like his dad and have many guns and go fishing and hunting!! What can I say.....he is his father's child!! A cute and handsome one too!!

Bear Lake

A couple of Saturday's ago we went up to Bear Lake with Tony's Sisters Family and kids. It was a little overcast that day and to me it was a little chilly. The water was clear and blue and beautiful. There were a lot of people still up there. The kids had a Blast. Playing in the sand, walking out to as far as we could.... and it was pretty far. Having lunch, eating pizza up there and best of all.....Having a Bear Lake Raspberry Shake. It was so much fun, we are going to go up there again this weekend!!

Blake is another Yr. Old. He turned 6 in July. He had a friends birthday with the boys in our ward his age and invited 2 of his friends from school. They ran through sprinklers, decorated cupcakes and opened presents. Blake got some fun things and had a good Birthday. Later that Night we had the Jacobsen Clan come over and have a Family Party with them! It was great! Earlier that Sunday, we had a Multi - Birthday Party for My dad, Graeme (brother n law) and Blake! This year Kaysville City had their parade and events on Saturday the 3rd. Which made it nice. We took our kids to the parade (Traditional thing we do). My bro n law actually stayed overnight where his wife layed out some blankets, so nobody would take out spot!! (Oh it can happen)! We had most of the family there! It was fun to see the parade! It was 2 hrs long. Of course I got sunburnt as usual! After the Parade tony and I and the girls walked around all the booths that they had going on in the soccer field....aka: water hole!! (Only Kaysville timers know what that is and if you have ever swam in that.....cool cause I never got the chance!). We got the girls faces painted and I bought me some shorts and a shirt! It was fun. We then headed over to my grandma's house for some good cookin and good food! All my relatives were there, except my bro and sis and one cousin and family! Everyone else showed up! It was a good day. Not too cool and not too hot!! It was nice to see everyone and enjoy each others company!! After a few hrs, we headed over to Tony's family's home for some more good food. Let the kids play in water and have fun while the adults socialized. We then went to Davis High to see the fireworks. We went early so that we could get a good seat and let the kids run around and play!! The Fireworks were good. nothing new and exciting, just the same ole! This year I did not get sick coming come. thanks goodness. We actually got out of there pretty fast! It is always nice to hang out with the family and see everyone! hope everyone had a wonderful 4th of July weekend! Take Care and we love our Country and our FAMILY!

Eclipse!!

So, when Eclipse came out, my sister n law ans me went to go see it at 12:50 AM at the gateway! We were tired and kinda got lost on the way home....thank goodness for GPS!! it was such a good movie!! Tonight her and I went to see it again, but this time a much earlier showing (7:10 pm) at Tinseltown. Tonight I picked up on a lot more and enjoyed it more!! I wasn't so tired and it was fun seeing it twice!! I love the show! Any of you who haven't seen it.....You need to go and see it and read the books! They are fantastic and addicting! It has been so nice to go to Lagoon when you want, and if it is too crowded, then you can go home and go back another day. Or only stay for a couple of hours and not feel bad for going home early!! This year we got Lagoon passes with my sister n law and her kids! It has been so much fun going with them! Our kids are close in age and they get a long to good. We have been going stuff with them on the weekends for a long time and it's great that we can always rely on each other and have fun together on weekends or whenever!! We love having you guys over Heidi and Kyle!! Hope everyone has a wonderful Summer Planned and do something fun with you kids and Family!!

We got a new bedroom set a couple of weeks ago. It is so nice! It is a King and I love it! The mattress is comfy and I can't even notice Tony on the other side or him moving at all!! I have a hard time getting out of bed in the morning because I love my bed so much!! We got it at RC Willey on a good deal for Memorial Day!! I love my room now!! It feels nice to have a good bedroom set that your bed doesn't move at night or squeek or anything!!

Tony's Accident:!

Well, my husband had another accident....but not as bad as his last two! No broken bones....that we know of, but at least he can still walk and function!! We took the kids to Lagoon A Beach on day and He was going down a little kid slide with Marissa and when he got up to stand up the bottom of where the slide was he caught his pinky toe on the bottom and somehow hurt it really bad. The next day he didn't know if it was broken or not, but there is nothing you can do for a broken toe. It turned purple and bruised and swelled. It was pretty nasty. It is looking a lot better now after a week of hurting it!! He is more accident prone than my kids! None of my kids yet, have I needed to take to the ER or had anything serious done!! He is the one that I put in money into our FSA for!! I still love you babe!!! Your the bestest Hubby ever!! And I always take care of ya!!

Father's Day!!

I love my husband so much!! He works hard for me, he loves me and he is a good dad to our kids! We had a good Father's Day. Saturday we spent some time with my family and dad since he was leaving to Rochester with my sister to help her on the plane with her 3 kids. My dad is also a wonderful dad! He is always there for you, he helps you, never says anything mean about anyone. He works hard and he is superb in what he does!! I love you Tony very Much! I love you dad very much!! We all had a good Father's Day around here!!

Blake Graduating Kindergarten!!

Blake is done with Kindergarten! He has loved being Kindergartner, but it is now time to move on to 1st grade. He is such a busy boy who always has be be busy and doing something. he is a very smart boy who is learning how to read and amazes me each day with all the new things that he has learned or is learning. He is fascinated with everything. He is a good eater, he helps his sisters and is obedient and loves going to Lagoon. We are going to work hard this summer on reading and writing so he will be totally ready for 1st. grade. he had an awesome teacher for kindergarten. She was soooooo good and loved those kids and really taught them sooo much!! She was the best. I think it all starts from the beginning. If you have good teachers.......then you will have a good year!!

I know it has been a while since I have posted, but some things have been going on!
My Birthday was the 1st Of May. My hubby was out of town, but we still celebrated with my family! My sister n Law made me a fruit Pizza and we ate dinner up at my moms. My siblings also gave me a pink cardigan that I love and a scarf to go with it! (Thanks guys)!! I was blessed enough to have my brother and his family here still from Penn. It was fun to have them here for a couple of months, but we sure miss them now!! This year I turned 28. I am slowly creeping up to 30. Never thought I would get this old. I am having fun with my kids! They keep me on my feet and tell me their funny jokes!!!

Marissa also had a Birthday this moth. She turned 4 on the 21st!! She also had a good birthday! We celebrated her Birthday up at my moms with Tony's family and Mine. She got spoiled. SHe loved having everyone there.! It was fun so Thanks everyone!! She is getting so big. I just took her in for her well child and she is 28.4# (1%) as usual. She is eating better and better. She is so active and wants to do everything that Blake is doing and loves being outside playing. She always has energy and the will power to do anything she wants! She hardly gets sick with her immune system being so well. She also has a bladder of steel. She has never urinated the bed and is so helpful with her little sister that she loves so much....(mostly). She likes to take care of her when she is sad or hurt.

We have just been plunging along in our day to day activities. We wish the rain would stop so we could play outside more and get a tan. We are getting sick of the rain. We want to go swimming and go to Lagoon a Beach!! We did get Season passes to Lagoon this year, and It has been a Blast!! Yes, I have been on Wicked.....and I tell you.....it is a WICKED RIDE!!! Blake now loves it and he likes going on the swings and the Bat.....He has no fear!! Same as Marissa!! She wishes she could go on all the big kid rides. SHe does well and loves all the little rides. Jaci...it took her a couple times to go but now she will go on mostly all the little kid rides at Lagoon. her favorite are the little kids swings! They also like going on the Merry go Round! Everyone's favorite...right~!! I am still working 1 night a week and 1 saturday a month. It's getting slower! ya, for that! It's been fun and nice to get out of the house one night a week. Tony is keeping busy with his work. has not been on a trip for a while. His work is going to start to slow down here for the summer. He does well.

Can I just tell you that I have an awesome husband! He takes care of our kids so well when I go to work one night a week. last night he took them to the Park and then went to get ice cream for them! He takes Blake on Bike rides with him! he takes the girls in our circle so that they can practice riding their bikes! He play frisbee with the kids and tickles them. The kids just love their dad and always want him when he is gone! He is such a great husband too. He fixes my car and stuff around the house. He pretty much lets me do whatever and whenever I want to do something. He's not controlling and way good to me and into me and makes me feel loved! Just wanted to say "I love you babe" and I am glad that we are married! You have been my one and only ever since Jr. High. I always knew that I was going to marry him!!! It's been a fun 9 yrs of marriage so far and I look forward to the next so many years down the road! Love ya!

SO this is what you get when you want something done to your hair because you are getting sick of it and waiting for it to grow out and be somewhat long, but don't want a huge drastic change.......so for my birthday (which is the 1st of May), I wanted to go and get my hair highlighted and done. So I went to my favorite place with my favorite stylist and told her what I wanted.....and this is what the result ending was!!! I have blond highlights with a red hint in it so it is subtle. You can't even tell it is red!! I love it and she did an awesome job on it!

This is what you get when you mix 70+ degree weather on a afternoon when your husband turn on the sprinklers for the first time this year! Kids wanting to get wet for the first time this year!! They think it is fun.....and then when their clothes are soaked.....they come and ask if they can change into their swim suites!! Then the next day, here in Utah......it rains and rains and snows in some parts of the state and it is 50 degree weather....That's what you get for living in Utah I guess! Gotta love the mixed up weather that we have!

This is what you get when you are downstairs helping your husband put together an Entertainment Cntr. ......Marissa and Jaci were upstairs minding their own business playing and obvious playing with little markers.....wherever they found them. Great fully she only got it on her body and no where else. She is definitely my mischievous child....who will probably give me grief as she gets older with the many outfits that she changes into a day and having her socks and pants just right and he specific shoes that she wears......what a child I have!! But......WE LOVE HER!

Spring Break weekend FUN!

So this last week, Blake had Spring Break. On Thursday we took the kids to Chucky Cheese. They always have a blast there. Tony's older sis and family came with us! It was fun! After that we headed up to my mom's to drop the kiddo's off and then Tony and I headed to St. George for the weekend. We stayed in Cedar City Thursday Night. Then on Friday morning we drove to St. George. It was fun. It was way warm there. We did lots of shopping. (not as many outlets there as there are in Park City), but still it was fun. We went out to eat, we went on a little hike, drove around, saw some big cool houses, we even went to Mesquite......nothing to do there..only if you gamble. We even went to the temple there and took some pictures outside. We had a fun enjoyable time there! My kids also had fun at granny's house. My mom had the weekend off so my bro and his wiffie and mom took the kids up to Logan's Baby animal day's. They had so much fun! Blake even went Mustin Bustin on a Sheep! They loved the animals up there. Thanks so much for taking care of my kids! We appreciate it.

I know this post is a little late, but we hope you all had a wonderful Easter!. We had a fun time at grandma Green's hunting for eggs at my aunt's church! Always a fun time with close cousins and their kids! We have a lot of little kids on that side of the family! So much fun! My kids had fun looking at their Easter baskets and finding eggs. Marissa and Jaci both got dresses and Blake got a new outfit and they all got 1 small toy! At grandma Jacobsen's the kids also had fun chasing for eggs in the basement! They got all sorts of fun little toys! It was a major blast!! Thanks everyone for a wonderful EASTER this 2010 YEAR!!! We all had fun!!! Hope to see you all next year, but a year older!

Today for Pre-School with Marissa and friends, we visited the Fire station. I think the girls all had fun! Hey loved to see the Fire Trucks and sit in the Ambulance. It was a fun experience for them. In the end, they all got their own pencils and a fire badge. They Fire EMS person that took us on the tour was really nice and great! He showed the girls everything. He even turned on the lights and sirens for us! It was awesome! Marissa has really learned so much already this year! She is going to be really smart for Kindergarten. Too bad she has one more year. She knows how to write most of her name, she knows all her sounds and what letters they are, colors, numbers......She is one smart smartie and we love her very much!

Spring Time yet.......?

Oh we so wish for Spring time now. We really have not had that much snow this year. Which in some ways.....have been nice. The kids really love playing outside, which makes it nice for me to have them outside. It is still long sleeve and jacket weather, though we do have some good sunny days for which the kids can go out and ride their bikes and play with their friends.
We really have not done anything this past month. We are just boring people to do the same ole' thing day after day. Clean House, blake to school, lunch, naps, computer time, dinner, family time.....yes the same ole thing day after day! I guess that is the thing to mom's world. The kids are dong well. Jaci talks more and more each day and you can really understand her better and better each week. She loves to follow Marissa and Blake around and do what they do. She really takes after Marissa and what she likes to do! She loves her babies and loves Nursery. Saturday Night around 10:30 PM she woke up vomiting all over her bed. After that she would dry heave every 10, 20 min to a half hour until 6:30 AM. It was a long night, but I watched 2 movies. So Sunday we were tired and stayed home from church and just vegetated at home. It was actually quite relaxing. I can say....we are doing much better now. Jaci got tubes in the middle of Feb. We thought that it would help out her orneryness......but it didn't. she still is a 2 yr old. which this faze needs to pass. I would really like another one one day, but i don't know if I can take another Marissa and Jaci. Blake was soo good and easy going as a child and baby and still is. If I could have another boy that would be as good as him.......we will see someday!
Marissa is loving life and is a big sister to Jaci and knows a lot and is ready for Kindergarten. She is going to be so smart by the time she goes!! She is such a drama queen and loves doing what Blake wants to do. She is into everything! She especially loves to ride her bike!
Blake.....is loving Kindergarten and mom is ready for him to be in 1st. grade. He is a very smart boy and does awesome at reading. he is very creative and wants to be everything when he grows up! he loves playing games, especially with grandpa law. He loves grandpa taking him on rides with his 4-wheeler around the yard!!

We are ready for Spring Time to be at our home. Being cooped up in a house.....is not fun! We have had our home for sale for about 1 1/2 months now. We have not had too many people look at it. I know it just is a bad time right now. The market is down, but thereare incentive's to buy homes right now, which isn't too bad at the moment and people are getting their tax returns back! If we don't sell.....we don't and its not meant to be at the moment. Our home is nice and the neighborhood is awesome and we have great people in our ward.

The Jacobsen Home is for sale. We just put it up last Friday. Who knows if we will move or not, but we will see. If we don't.....we will wait until the time is right again. We have a great neighborhood and great people in this ward! if you go to www.utahrealestate.com, type in this MLS#: 940097 and it will bring up our house with many pictures! We just redid the kitchen and bathroom and has new shingles and a back patio. It's been a fun house, but yes I am a little greedy and I want a little bit bigger house with a kitchen/family room and a master bathroom. But we will see once again. So it has been a while since I have blogged. It has been busy. Being R.S. 2nd Counselor, having 3 kids, working 1 night a week.....doing everyday stuff.....you really get not time to blog. Here are some things that have been going on at our house!
Blake is doing really great in school. His teacher loves him and he reads really well and is making good friends! Marissa love pre-school and knows how to spell her name, partially write her name, knows her birthday, she is a smart girl who will be ready to Kindergarten! Jaci.....is still our peal! She has had 3 ear infections since her tubes came out in July. Been on 4 antibiotic's and her ears are still congested. She is ornery and cry's a lot. We finally met with the ENT and are getting her adnoids out and tubes in her ears again this Friday at Davis Hospital!! Hopefully after that...we will have a happy girl.
I am still working 1-2 nights a week for 3 hrs. I swear on the nights that I work....we always have something interesting happen. It's been crazy. It's fun!! My lesson in R.S. is now done so that I can have that relief done. It went well. I had lots of comments and it was Nice. I taught on "Making your home a Heaven on earth" talk given by Douglas A. Callister! It is a great talk!
We got rid of our puppy "Sniper". He was a great puppy, but it was just too much and it was hard to leave him for a period of time so a guy from Tony's work wanted him, so we gave sniper to them! I know he is loved and will be taken care of!
Tony is still working hard and they are busy at work which is nice. Hasn't gone anywhere for a while. We are getting excited to go to Hawaii the 2nd week of April for 10 day's!!! It will be way fun!!!
I have 2 sisters that are pregnant and shouel be having their babies soon! My one sister isn't dune until April and my other sister is due any day now. Her contractions are getting stronger, so i just wait for her call everyday!!! (you better call me Chae)! (you too miq)!!
So this might come as a shocker to some....but yes we did put our house up for sale! we have been contemplating it for a while, and right now we just feel it would be a good time. Since everyone is getting their tax returns back and such and you have those loans available! So we will see!! It has been a good neighborhood and we will miss all of our great neighbors, but sometimes you just have to move on! So it is another adventure for us!! So if you know of anyone who is interested in buying a home in a great neighborhood and it is all fixed up inside, let us know!! We have it listed for $234,900.00.
All in all we are doing great and having fun and going day by day with every day stuff. Hopefully one of these day's it will be spring!!! We can only hope for the best!!

Adrianne=less stressful and more realxed...

So Since I have been on some Meds to make me less stressful and less OCD and less anxiety....I don't know what I am thinking! On Tuesday Night my brother in law called and asked if we wanted a dog....right off the bat I told him NO! I like dogs....but not right now! When I get off the phone I told Tony and he started asking me questions about it...and then finally called my brother in law back to get more info... Need to say more.......we have a dog that we got for free from them from my brother in law's sister who lives in Idaho. It is an 8 mos old Mini Doxin. It is a light brown/reddish in color. Very mellow and calm. is already potty trained and already had it's shots! To see the kids with it when my sister brought it over...they were excited. To see Tony with it...it was like watching a little kid on Christmas getting excited for a new puppy! tony loves it and the kids love it. it is growing on me! It is an inside dog. It doesn't shed a whole lot. I do keep my house pretty clean though and I clean every night and try to keep my furniture clean and such! So don't be afraid when you come to my house the next time! he is very sweet and loveable! Jaci the other night told me that the doggie loves her and she loves the doggie. She is infatuated with the dog and loves it a little too much. She loves dogs though. But ya, you gotta live and learn a little bit in your marriage and go out of your little box to experience new things in life as you live and have kids! It's fun! Here are some pictures of our dog. Blake=Dent on Forehead!

So the other day.....Tuesday. I went to Walmart because I had to get something. So I had the girls and Blake was right behind me and as I went in to grab a cart that I was pulling out I turned around and there was Blake crying and blood coming from his forehead. (not bad....but it was bleeding). I took him to the bathroom and cleaned him up and he had a little dent/hole on the top of his forehead. It wasn't deep enough to have stitches. I could have taken him in and they could have Derma-bond it. But to pay $30.00 to have them do that....Just wasn't worth it to me. When we got home I called Tony and he came home to look at it and so did Grandpa Craig. We just cleaned it really well and put a little butterfly band aid over it! It is looking better now and Blake was good about it! At the time being, he was pretty traumatic over it! So here he is with his band-aid over his head. And NO I am not a negligent mother. He told me he wasn't looking where he was going and ran into the side of the rock wall on the entrance of Walmart in Cntvl. Poor kid!

Well it has been a great year! No ER visits, no vehicle accidents, no major anything. Just a few colds here and there and that is about it! We have been pretty healthy around here and it has been great! I am tired of paying medical bills and tired of talking to Insurance Co's. So we have been blessed this year. We hope that everyone has a WONDERFUL 2010 year!

Christmas was good this year! We got lots of fun things and so did the kids. On Christmas Eve, my parents came down in the afternoon and gave the kids their gifts a little earlier which was nice. They had fun with them. Thanks mom and dad! That night we headed over to Tony's parents to have a nice dinner and decorate cookies and open presents. The Girls got Princess dress ups and a movie. Blake got Transformers and Tony got a jacket he wanted from Cabela's and I got a Tommy Black sweater and a Tommy Levi jean jacket and socks! It was fun! thank mom and dad Jacobsen. Tony and I also got a gift card from Heidi and Kyle! Thanks!! On Christmas Day, we slept until the kids woke up around 7:30 then opened our presents that we got the kids. They got ponies, hats, clothes and Blake got transformers, bakogauns....lot's of fun stuff. Tony got me a red puffer coat and I got tony a nice tie and a long sleeve button shirt. That afternoon we headed over to my parents to have a wonderful luncheon brunch with my 2 sisters. My parents gave Tony a dutch oven and Me a vinyl lettering machine that I am way excited about. It's way better than a Cricut! We got spoiled this year. it's been great!
We are glad that Tony has a job and that I work one night a week. It's been fun around here! We are just living life and playing and having fun! Watching our kids grow! Blake is still loving Kindergarten, Marissa is still her own self and wants to do what she wants to do and Jaci...she just follows everyone else around wanting to do what they are doing!

On Monday the 14th of Dec. it was Tony and I's Anniv. We have been married for 8 years, so we will be going on our 8th year. We have had our ups and downs at times, but I am glad that I am married to my dear wonderful hubby and I love him very much. He is a great father and husband who cares and cares for others. he is very likable and people like to be around him. He is good at fixing things around the house and cars. He always strives to do his best at whatever he is doing. He loves the outdoors and does well at everything he does and trys to do!! I love you babe and wish us luck for another great year and many years to come as we grow old together. I love you!

So my good friend from High School was doing a Fundraiser Photoshoot to help pay for the adoption of her new little baby boy that she will be getting soon! The First part of Nov. we went to Memory Grove Park and we got some family Pict. Done. they really turned out great and I am WAY happy for them. Thanks Britt!!! Anyway's....Jaci was the only one being a peel....but now I know why......She is a mommy's girl and come to find out....she has a double ear infection and who knows how long it has been going on for. So I am hoping now she gets better and we don't have to do tubes again this spring. She has already had 2 ear infections since her tubes came out in July...so cross your fingers she will get better and stay better. I can't handle a crying 2 yr old every day. It's getting tiresome!!
We have all been doing great! Tony has been really busy at work lately and my work....well...it's been slower, which is nice. A lot of sore throats and sinus stuff going around also...bronchitis and coughs! I am still working 1 night a week on Wednesday's and also 1 Saturday a month. It has been nice. It gets me out of the house!! I just got a new calling in church. I am now the 2nd Counselor in the R.S. Presidency. It has been nice so far. I am in charge of Enrichment's so now I have to get my brain working and be creative. If any of you have had some fun Enrichment's... Please let me know!
This year, I have put together a Sub for Saata for a family and have had lots of help with it. It has really been fun going shopping for this family. It has really lifted my spirits and It's been fun! I hope the family will love the stuff that I have gotten them! It's all way cute and I am way excited to give it to them!
Today we cleaned our tile. Holy Cow was it dirty. It looks soooo much cleaner now. It brightens our kitchen so much! Tony's parents have a carpet cleaner that cleans carpet, but we have used it to clean our tile and it makes wonders. We also bought some tile cleaner and also a steamfast mop! It looks great! I am way impressed with how clean my tile is. now I can keep my tile clean and not have it look dirty all the time and dirt in the little grooves!!

ThanksGiving!

So this year for ThanksGiving, we spent most of the afternoon at Tony's parents home with all of his siblings! It was fun to just relax and not do anything! We had GREAT food. It was all Yummy and the Pie's were FANTASTIC!!! Good Times we had. The kids made cute little Turkey hats that Julie had brought for them to do as a craft and Heidi and Heather have Wii stuff and Rock Band sutff, we all the kids played and took turns and also most of the adults.! Well...I didn't. I took Pictures, but Tony even tried it out and had fun!! We had a fun time this year! On my side of the family, it was at my Aunt's house in Sandy, and we didn't want to drive down there. so we just stayed at Tony's Parent's house all afternoon. It was fun! We had great THANKSGIVING!!

Stuff that has been going on!

So there has been a lot that has been going on at our house lately within the last couple of weeks. 1st of all, we have al been sick. It all started with Blake who got a cold and lost his voice and also got a cough. It wasn't too bad. Low grade fever with coughing, lasted for abut a week. When he was on the tail end of that Marissa got it but she vomited for 1 whole day and actually did good and told me when she was going to and did it in a bucket. She also had a low grade fever and then lost her voice. When she was on the tail end of that, then Jaci decided to get it and also vomited, but didn't do so well doing it in the bucket. She also lost her voice and was miserable with a low grade fever. Needless to say, when she was on the tail end of that.....I decided to get what they all had and i was miserable. I wanted a Phenregren shot at 2:00 AM in the morning so that I could sleep and not vomit every hr. It was bad. We are all finally better after missing 3 weeks of church. Glad it just wasn't the flu.
Marissa and Jaci both got new hair cuts. Marissa needed one bad and her hair short...is just so much better. I went to Great Clips and the girl there who did it....just didn't do it short enough for me and it looked uneven, so I took her the next day to Dollar cuts and they made it cutier and better. Dollar cuts is the best for little girls! (Kari did a great job, so ask for her!). Marissa decided that Jaci also needed a hair cut she while I was in the bath and they were suppose to be outside helping tony with the leaves, I guess they came in and Marissa gave Jaci a haircut. It was in a ponytail tucked under, so she just kinda cut the hair that was tucked under. It really wasn't that bad...but I called my cousin who is a beautician and asked her if she would just fix it and she did by blending it and giving her some swoop bangs. It looks good, so thanks Jess.
I have been working a little more. I have been working the lat couple of saturday's which is nice and gives me a few more hrs and Tony is home to watch them, so it makes it nice. I think the flu is winding down now. Not so many now. Mt kids are going to get their 2nd shot next tuesday.
I put up my christmas tree and decorations. Call me crazy...but i was in the mood, and it wasn't gong to be put up if I didn't do it then. I figured we already had Thanksgiving anyways...because we did it with my moms side of the family before my bro and sister n law left to go back home. So i figured I wanted it up to enjoy it longer. It has been fun. I let the kids decorate it this year by themselves. Isn't that what christmas is all about anyways...??
Other than that, we have just been hanging out and Annie has been getting all the christmas presents done. Only a few more and then I will be done. It has been fun this year. I am excited for it all. I love Thanksgiving and Christmas. So much service to give and help out with! It's great!!

Halloween 2009!

this week has been a long week of sickness at my house. First it started with Marissa getting sick Tuesday and vomitting all day but was better the next day with no fever at all. Then Blake was getting sick with a little low grade fever with coughing then jaci decided to vomit twice in one night but was better the next day!......oh...what a week. and Today, saturday halloween, Blake is still hoarness and his cough is getting better. he was wheezing and hard time breathing at night and had a dry seal cough.....it was bad to the point where I had to take him outside to breath the cold air in! He is better! Hopefully by next week.....we can be better at my house! I hate having sick kids, it is the worse. It is just going to be a long winter with all the germs that are going around! good luck to you all!! Here are some pictures of halloween!

Mowing lawn

So I believe this was our last at mowing the lawn. The kid sure had fun with it! We had to run the lawn mower out of gas, so when Tony got done, he let Blake push it around till it was out of gas! Maybe one of these years he will be old enough and big enough to actually mow the lawn!! They had fun following Tony around the back lawn! What funny kids I have!

Tony's 30yr. Birthday!

Today (Oct. 26TH) My Hubby turned 30 yrs old. I am so glad that he is my husband and we have 3 beautiful children together! He is an amazing father and husband. He was suppose to be hunting at my brother n law ranch for Deer, but he shot one and left it there for the others. SO my dad drove him to salina where his mom picked him up! I am glad that he was home for his birthday. To celebrate, he already had the day off so as a family we went to Chucky Cheese and had a fun time with the kids! We got 80 tokens to begin with and by the end......we had over 400 pts. It was great! the kids chose a prize and they had tons of fun! Tony thought it was better than what he expected it to be! We had a great time! This evening we are headed up to my parents to make Olive Garden's Fett. Alfredo. to eat with my family! It will be wonderful! Thanks for all you do babe! We love you and hope you have a great Birthday!

Just at little story: Tony and i have known each other for a very long time. His parents and my aunt and uncle are good friends. My cousin and Tony would always hang around and do stuff together. I would always hang around my cousin when Tony was at his house and they would get sick of me, but of well. We never dated while I was in High School. I was a Sophomore when he was Senior. After he returned home from a mission from Brazile, I went to the airport with my cousin to see him. 2 days later he called me and we went on a date! After that we began dating. A year after dating we got married in 2001. Now we have 3 children 1 boy and 2 girls! He works for ADP as a Implentation Specialist and I am back working at Tanner Clinic one night a week and once a month Sat. It great! We are both loving life and having fun with our kids!

H1N1 Vaccination!

So today, since the had the H1N1 Clinic at the Bntfl. Regional Cntr. I decided to take my kids there and get them vaccinated. It was very busy and many, many people already there at 9:30 when I got there. I was at the back of the line and it wrapped around the building and then by about 1/2 it wrapped around the building again! It was crazy. I knew it would be crazy and a lot of people there, but I really didn't imagine that many people. Oh Well. My kids are vaccinated now, so I am happy!! They did the mist on Blake and Marissa and the shot on Jaci. I did't get it, because you had to be between the ages of 6 mos - 24 yrs of age. my clinic is getting them for just the employees in Nov. so I will get mine then! Anyways....I have been around it a lot ans swabbbed a lot of people with positive results.
I encourage anyone......to go and get your kids vaccinated for it. It will really help and if you get it, you will become deathly ill for many days and you feel like you are going to die. It's wicked when you get it, trust me! I have been around too many people that have it, and it's not fun to get. Right now, the majority or kids that are getting it are Jr. High and High School age kids, then they pass it on their younger and sis. Grade school is still getting it, but I have seen a lot more in those 2 age groups getting sick! But I tell you, as soon as you start getting a fever and chills, please take your did in and get them treated. If you have symptoms for more than 24 hrs....there is not a whole lot that the Dr.s can do for you and the Tamiful...will not help out more than 24 hrs after your symptoms occur! Just FY!
So go and get your kids Vaccinated. There is nothing wrong with Vaccinations. They cannot hurt your child!
Good luck in this flu season and always remember to wash your hands and keep them out of your face! and KEEP YOUR KIDS HOME IF THEY ARE SICK WITH ANYTHING!!!! We don't want GERMS spread!
